| Who went to go see these guys this morning?

That's right, if you always wondered, who listens to the those annoying, obnoxious, hack morning radio shows? Me and Sammy do, that's who! Sammy came up with the great idea of going to see the Kidd Kraddick show in Las Colinas, he told his boss he was going on a smoke break. We were there for an hour and half - it was a really big cigarette.

I'm not good with moving and goodbyes. I crumble apart and I always end up crying. I even got depressed when I had to move from Uptown to Addison. I've figured out that I'm one of those people who gets used to life and routines and when there's change, it hits like a ton of bricks. I enjoy change in many forms like: Chai Latte instead of Vanilla Latte or redhead vs. blonde or the red pill this time instead of the blue and things like that. But moving away just knocks me down to a sadness that i just can't shake. I think what really tears me up is that I wont get to see the beautiful faces of my wonderful friends whenever I want to. Now I've got to take the Honda on a 3 hour trip to see Son choke on a tapioca pearl.
On that note, things I will miss about living in Dallas: - Friday night dinners with Tom, Son, Amy, and Siam. The BEST crew to have dinner with at La Calle Doce, Genroku, Bangkok Inn or Zorba. - Living first with my brother in addison, then on my own, then with Chrissy, and then of course Ann! Ann is the greatest roomie! I especially loved it when we would each sit on one couch in the living room and both be on AIM chatting away - to each other! nerd alert! - Patrizio - baby bellini! - Amy's mad baking skillz. Cornbread surprise, what? yum yum to the tum tum - Making fun of Tom, Son, and Siam because they could always be found in either one of 3 locations: work, Old Monk or Gingerman - Grilling at Tom's house, even with a shirtless Hippie walking around - I swear that Half Price Books on NW Hwy is THE biggest one ever - Satiating sushi fixes at Bluefish, Genroku, Nobu (thanks Son!) and Sushi Zushi. - Holy Trinity Catholic Church and the group of CRAZY 7th graders I taught sunday school to, I learned more from them then they did from me.
And the list goes on and on....but what I'll be most sad about is not seeing Amy, Tom, Son, Siam, Nik, Michelle, Jon, Ann, Hippie and even some of my work buddies everyday and every week. It hurts something bad. |
